TORONTO — The latest edition of the Air Canada Race is heading to North America for the first time, with Kissimmee, Florida serving as race headquarters.

Now in its eight year, the national travel agent competition, which is hosted by Air Canada and inspired by the long-running reality show ‘The Amazing Race’, will take place in Kissimmee from Aug. 26-30.

Race participants will have a chance to win one of five amazing prizes, all of which include air seats for two to Orlando International Airport (MCO), accommodations in Kissimmee, and theme park tickets. Plus, agents can earn bonus points by sharing their race experience on social media with the official race hashtag #ACRaceKissimmee.

“We are thrilled to partner with Experience Kissimmee for the 2018 edition of the Air Canada Race,” said Virgilio Russi, Senior Director Sales – Canada at Air Canada. “This is a hugely popular event with travel agents across Canada, and we think this year’s location will guarantee a great competition and lots of fun for our highly valued partners.

DT Minich, Experience Kissimmee President and CEO, added: “Canada is always a priority market for our area. This race will encourage Canadians to see that a vacation in Kissimmee means an endless supply of sunshine and incredible experiences for visitors.”

For a chance to qualify for the race, agents must book their clients on Air Canada, with bonus points awarded when they book them to MCO, and complete the online information form here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AirCanadaRace2018.
