ACV to offer new direct flights to Ireland from Montreal this summer

MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations is heading straight to the Emerald Isle with new direct flights from Montreal this summer season.

Departing every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, the Ireland service runs from June 2 to Oct. 13.

ACV offers travellers a variety of Ireland options this year with the Urban Getaway, Fly & Rail vacations, Fly & Drive vacations, and Guided Tours travel options.

For example, clients can create their Urban Getaway to Dublin with a vast choice of activities such as a gourmet excursion or a full-day trip to the Cliffs of Moher. If the romance and comfort of rail travel beckons, they can opt for the Fly & Rail vacation option like ‘Ireland from City to Nature’, which departs from Dublin by train to the city of Killarney.

If clients prefer the freedom of the open road, suggest a Fly & Drive vacation such as ‘Taste of Ireland’, which allows them to fly into Dublin and drive their way through villages like Galway, Limerick and Kerry. This getaway also includes stops at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Trinity College and the Cliffs of Moher, as well as a direct flight from Montreal starting at $1,499 per person.

With the ACV&Me loyalty program, travel agents who book hotels, cruises and groups to sun destinations will receive 600 points per room for packages of 7+ nights; 400 points per room for packages of 3-6 nights; 600 points per stateroom for air and cruise packages; and 300 points per passenger for Group bookings.
