MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations is now offering weekly Saturday sailings out of Miami onboard the MSC Divina, giving travellers more opportunity to sail away and agents a greater chance to earn 12% commission.

The packages, available through Sirev, include roundtrip air, transfers, a seven-night cruise, plus all taxes and fees. A total of 12 beverage vouchers that can be used towards beer, non-premium spirits, soft drinks and bottled water are also included, as well as 50% off all fitness classes and personal training. Clients will also receive complimentary delivery fee for room service, and complimentary continental breakfast in bed.

Clients who book by Oct. 31 will save $175, and will only pay a $100 deposit. Prices start at $1,429 for April 2, 2017 sailings.

For agents, they’ll earn 12% commission and get the chance to win a seven-night Caribbean cruise for two for all-in-one cruise packages booked online. Roundtrip airfare is included in the prize. Contest ends April 15, 2017.

In other ACV news, the company has appointed Joyce Simbulan and Lindsay Sande as its new Area Sales Managers in Western Canada, effective immediately.

Simbulan, who’ll cover the regions of Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Northern BC. Richmond, Ladner, North Shore and the Yukon, brings with her five years of experience in leisure travel. She most recently held the position of Agency Sales Representative at WestJet.

Sande will serve as Area Sales Manager of Alberta and has close to 10 years of experience in the travel industry, most recently holding the position of Destination Sales Manager at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies in Calgary.
