ACTA adds two more Summit speakers: Gary Sadler and Ines Almeida Garret

TORONTO — ACTA has added two high-profile industry speakers to its Toronto Summit schedule.

Gary Sadler, OD, Executive VP Global Sales & Industry Relations for Unique Vacations Inc., will share his insights with the Toronto audience, while Visit Portugal’s new Canadian director, Ines Almeida Garret, will speak at the Toronto summit as well as the summits in Richmond, B.C. and Laval, QC.

The events are scheduled for Sept. 14 (Toronto), Sept. 20 (Richmond), and Sept. 28 (Laval). All include a full-day Summit and trade show with more than 50 exhibitors already confirmed, a plated lunch, and a networking reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Here’s a look at each of the new sessions …

  • The Future of Travel is Bright!: The Sandals and Beaches executive team is confident in the growth of travel and are assertively investing in the future, and Gary Sadler will his share his insights about travel industry trends, key success factors and opportunities on how travel agencies and travel agents can maximize their future.
  • Can’t Skip Portugal!: Visit Portugal’s new Director for Canada, Ines Almeida Garret, arrived in Canada in April and looks forward to meeting Canadian travel agents at the ACTA summits. In her presentation she’ll share why Portugal is the perfect destination for the Canadian traveller, with its history and culture, gastronomy and wines, the beaches, surfing, music festivals, great weather and, above all, the Portuguese people.

The summits are complimentary for ACTA members. Non-member travel agents are asked to consider making a contribution to ACTA’s Advocacy Fund. Registration includes access to the full-day Summit and trade show, with plated lunch and networking reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
