A message to the industry from VoX International

TORONTO — In a letter penned to the travel industry, VoX International is encouraging agents to remain positive during the COVID-19 crisis and explore destinations from the comfort of their own homes.

“We know that while we weather the storm and stay #SafeAtHome, Canadians may be looking for escapism from the current situation,” says Susan Webb, President. “We are inspired by the creativity of our partners in finding ways to bring their destinations to you in this time through virtual tours, live streams, social media and more.”

The VoX team, which represents a number of destinations including Kissimmee, Germany, Hawaii, Florida, Australia, Texas and more, is currently working from home. But Webb insists that team members remain connected and easily accessible via phone, email and video chat.

“We love travel and we can’t wait to welcome you back in our destinations once it is safe to do so,” adds Webb. “Whether it’s taking in a sunset in Hawaii, enjoying authentic BBQ in Texas, adventuring around Costa Rica and so much more, there are countless incredible travel experiences waiting to return to on the other side of this.”

Webb also extends a special thank you to journalists and media partners for “working around the clock to keep Canadians informed” of the rapidly evolving situation.

“The global COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the travel industry and the lives of everyone like nothing else before,” she says, adding that the team’s thoughts are with friends and colleagues around the world. “We are reaching out to you to extend our best wishes and offer our support in any way we can.”
