Canadian agents soak up the sun while on St. Vincent and the Grenadines fam

TORONTO — A group of Canadian travel agents recently enjoyed seven days in the sun while on a multi-island fam to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Hosted by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines tourism Authority and led by Shelley John, Director of Sales for Canada, the fam included site inspections across the main island and an island-hopping adventure that took in the sights of Bequia, Petit St. Vincent, Young Island, Palm Island Resort, Canouan and more.

The lucky agents also stopped by the iconic Princess Margaret Beach and explored the uninhabited Tobago Cays, a sailor’s paradise, where they snorkelled with turtles and other marine life. On Canouan, the group enjoyed a stay at the only Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the Caribbean.

The fam also provided an exclusive look at the new The Liming hotel, which opened in late 2018. This luxury property is home to a collection of villas featuring one to five bedrooms, plus a beachfront restaurant that’s quickly gaining a reputation for being one of the best places to eat on Bequia.

The six agents represented agencies from across Ontario and Quebec, including: Flamborough Travel Plus; Ingrid’s Travel; Carlson Wagonlit Victor Travel and Carlson Wagonlit Creative Travel & Tours; Groupe Voyages VP; and Handa Travel. The group flew nonstop on Air Canada Rouge flights from Toronto.
