Save 10% with Contiki’s new Latin America campaign

TORONTO — Contiki has launched a new limited-time campaign that includes 10% savings when booking any of its Latin America adventures.

Running from Aug. 1-12, the campaign highlights old favourites like Peru and Costa Rica, as well as emerging destinations for Contiki in 2019-2020 such as Patagonia and Colombia.

“Since the launch of our Latin America 2020 program, we’ve seen young Canadian travellers largely trending towards this destination,” says Sheralyn Berry, President of Contiki Canada. “This limited-time campaign is the perfect recipe for clients to get a taste of Latin America, Contiki-style, and gives agents the opportunity to encourage clients to book the epic adventure they’ve been dreaming of, not only to secure their vacation but their savings as well.”

The company’s Latin America program focuses on small groups and big adventures with a 30-traveller maximum. Itineraries include unique accommodations at three- and four-star hotels, hostels and Special Stays, multilingual Trip Managers and Local Guides, transport in private minicoaches and internal flights and trains.

Plus, the campaign features experiences that align with Contiki’s sustainability program, ‘Contiki Cares, powered by TreadRight’, which offers young clients the chance to give back on their getaway. Opportunities include spending three additional days deep in the Amazon jungle in Ecuador while working on a sustainable development project on the seven-day ‘The Lava Line’ and 12-day ‘Ecuador & Galapagos Island Hopper’. Clients can also take part in a tree-planting program in Monteverde, Costa Riva, visit a llama farm in Cusco and, the newest addition, visit Proyecto Tití to learn about the critically endangered Cotton-top Tamarin in Colombia.

Contiki’s most popular and newest Latin America itineraries include: the 11-day ‘Peru Panorama’, which includes the Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Cusco and Machu Picchu; the eight-night ‘Viva Costa Rica, which highlights the country’s coral reefs, wildlife and volcanoes; the 10-day ‘Patagonia Trail’, a journey that travels from Chile to Argentina; and the ‘Colombian Coasts & Culture’, during which clients can hike through national parks, participate in a Afro-Caribbean cooking class, and tour the city of Medellin.
