MONTEGO BAY — Sandals Montego Bay’s total transformation rolls on with the opening of a brand new restaurant and an overwater bar.

The Jerk Shack, known for its authentic Jamaican cuisine, features such menu items as jerk chicken, pork or sausage roasted in foil, roast breadfruit and jerk sauce.

Over at the new Latitudes Overwater Bar, guests can enjoy 360-degree ocean views, hammocks that sway above turquoise waters, and sunset cocktails around fire pits.

Both additions come months after the resort announced new luxury renovations and expansions, including completely redesigned rooms, a refurbished lobby area and bar as well as a new conference centre with cutting-edge technology.

Looking ahead, Sandals Montego Bay will also feature BMW luxury transfers for all guests in Club Sandals and Butler Suite categories starting Oct. 15, and Sandals’ signature Over-the-Water Serenity Wedding Chapel. Plus, the resort will debut two additional five-star Global Gourmet dining options: the Asian-inspired Soy and Butch’s Steak & Seafood.
