MSC Cruises gets ready for ‘condo-on-the-beach’ Seaside ship debut with new deal

FORT LAUDERDALE — MSC Cruises is getting a jump on Wave Season with inaugural season deals offering up to US$600 in added value on MSC Seaside, scheduled to make its debut in Miami in December 2017.

MSC Seaside is the first of up to three MSC Cruises next-generation ‘Seaside’ class ships and promises a ‘condo-on-the-beach’ design, crafted specifically for warm weather and offering sun worshippers one of the highest ratios of outdoor space at sea. MSC Seaside will sail from Miami to the Caribbean year-round and bring guests closer to the sea than ever before with a 360° outdoor promenade including a variety of outdoor restaurants and bars.

Onboard the ship offers a 934-seat theatre with four performances each night; gourmet dining at 11 different venues, including a Pan-Asian specialty restaurant created in partnership with celebrity chef Roy Yamaguchi; two of the longest zip lines at sea; and one of the most interactive waterparks at sea with slideboarding technology. The ship will also feature an enhanced MSC Yacht Club with private sun deck and restaurant, 24-hour butler service and a panoramic top sail lounge.

Through March 31, 2017 clients interested in securing a stateroom on MSC Seaside can get up to $600 of additional value including free shipboard credit, free WiFi and free mealtime drinks depending on the category of stateroom booked. Passengers will also benefit from reduced deposits of only $49 per person. Kids 11 and under sail free.

Part of MSC’s Wave Season offers, the Countdown to MSC Seaside deal includes prices starting at $539 per person as well as the following extra perks:

  • Interior Staterooms: $50 shipboard credit per stateroom
  • Ocean View Staterooms: $50 shipboard credit per stateroom + free Surfer WiFi package, allowing access to social networks, email and Web browsing for up to two devices – added value of $95 per stateroom
  • Balcony Staterooms: $50 shipboard credit per stateroom + free Surfer WiFi package, allowing access to social networks, email and Web browsing for up to two devices + free mealtime drinks package for two people, including unlimited consumption of wine, beer, mineral water and soft drinks during lunch and dinner – added value of more than $600 per stateroom.
