TORONTO — Sunwing is taking flight to Liberia, Costa Rica with new flight service from Calgary between Dec. 25 and April 16, 2017.
Departing weekly on Mondays, the new service is the latest addition to Sunwing’s winter flight schedule, bringing the total number of destinations offered from Calgary to 15. It already includes a number of the region’s most popular vacation destinations, such as Montego Bay and Cancun.
“Costa Rica is a wonderfully vibrant destination and offers something for every type of traveller, from eco adventurers to beach lovers,” said Andrew Dawson, President of Tour Operations for Sunwing. “We are delighted to be able to extend our programming from Calgary Airport to offer a direct connection for the first time this winter.”
In other company news, Sunwing’s popular STARmillionaire promotion is back following its resounding success this past spring. From now until March 28, 2017, agents who book a group of 10 or more clients with either Sunwing or Signature Vacations can win up to one million STAR Agent Reward Points that can be used for travel rewards or be converted into an equivalent cash value of $1,800 ($1 is equivalent to 555 STAR points).
