Meet the members of ACV’s new Travel Advisory Board

MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations has announced the names of 28 travel professionals that comprise its brand new Travel Advisory Board (TAB), which was created earlier this year to give agents the chance to work directly with senior management on issues that matter most.

Specializing in everything from groups and cruises to international and sun products, members represent a diverse range of independent agencies and chains from across Canada.

The group will meet monthly for the first six months before moving into quarterly sessions. Meetings will take place at ACV’s Mississauga and Montreal offices as well as through conference calls. An in-destination conference is also a possibility.

The first meeting will take place on Oct. 18. Members will have the opportunity to influence key strategies, share needs and challenges, and collaborate on existing and new initiatives that will increase sales for all travel agents. According to an official release, members will help ACV understand “what it needs to do to propel its relationship with the trade.”
