Goway and Emirates celebrate Africa, push Ultimate Fam to South Africa, will add Ethiopia

TORONTO — Goway Travel and Emirate Airlines took opening night of the Lion King at Prince of Wales Theatre in Toronto as an opportunity to celebrate the wonders and beauty of Africa as a destination.

Goway’s business to East Africa continues to thrive, particularly in Kenya, and the list of itineraries is set to expand in September with the addition of Ethiopia. Emirates continues to offer Canadians access to over 20 African destinations through Dubai.

“Emirates is an exceptional partner for Goway. With our diverse destinations and their vast network, it’s win-win all round,” says Moira Smith, general manager, Africa & the Middle East.

The brands will be showcasing these exotic destinations with Goway’s 2014 Ultimate Fam for travel agents which will head to Dubai and South Africa flying on award-winning Emirates airline. Participants will spend three nights in Dubai and six nights in coastal province of South Africa, Kwazulu Natal – experiencing both the sophistication of a world class city and the beauty and culture of the African bush.

Agents will receive one entry into the Ultimate Fam draw for each booking on any Goway destination. Furthermore, they will receive an additional entry if they also book Emirates flights. To enter, visit gowayagent.com.

Goway currently offers seven tours in East Africa throughout Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda to fit all budgets – from adventure to deluxe – and single supplements can often be waived for early bookings. Goway is set to add Ethiopia in September which offers both historical and cultural sites, or the destination can be used in conjunction with other stops in Africa.

“I’m really excited about adding Ethiopia to our destinations. Goway caters to globetrotters and Ethiopia with its rich history and culture is the perfect addition to our range,” says Smith.
