Italy faces airport strike Monday; France train strike March 9

BRUSSELS – ENAV, the Italian company that provides Air Traffic Control (ATC) service, has confirmed that there will be a strike of ATC personnel in the tower at Ciampino-G.B. Pastine International Airport in Rome on Monday, Feb. 29 from 12:00-16:00 UTC. The strike will affect arriving and departing traffic. Meanwhile, in France, a nationwide SNCF strike is planned for March 9. SNCF is France’s national state-owned railway company and manages the rail traffic in France and Monaco. Regional, inter-city and high-speed train services will be affected. For more information, visit sncf.com/en/passengers.
