Trafalgar’s new 2016 Italy program features 17 itineraries

TORONTO — Trafalgar’s new 2016 Italy brochure offers 17 unique itineraries, seven different trip styles including cruise, rail and combinations with varied pace, duration and focus.

Clients can explore Italy from the style and sophistication of the north to the ancient customs and traditions of the south and visit cities including Milan, Venice and Palermo.

To celebrate the launch of the new brochure and to give clients more value for their money, Trafalgar is offering an Early Payment Discount with savings of up to $1,050 per couple on 2016 Italy guided vacations when booked and paid by Jan. 14, 2016.

Rome Explorer is a new 8-day At Leisure trip perfect for first time visitors to Rome who want to explore the city in-depth. Clients will Rome, Vatican City and Tivoli with a Local Specialist and also visit the ancient sites of the Colosseum and the Pantheon. They will enjoy a Cultural Insight with a visit to a local food market and stroll through the local neighborhood bakeries while sampling focaccia and other food specialties.

Guests will also have a cooking experience with a professional chef by learning how to make pasta the Italian way. During their completely free day, they can choose an Optional Experience to explore Ostia Antica and relax with lunch at the beach. To celebrate the end of their journey, clients will enjoy a Roman Farewell dinner with a local family in their apartment that formerly belonged to the famous filmmaker, Michelangelo Antonioni.
