MONTREAL — 5Continents is introducing a new travel collection that gives clients more time to connect with destinations, offering a slower-paced alternative to traditional escorted tours.
The ‘Stay. Explore. Belong. Collection’ features curated journeys across Italy and Europe, combining guided experiences with independent time. Developed with the company’s long-established European partners, the itineraries are designed for travellers who want to immerse themselves in local culture while enjoying flexibility and a more relaxed pace.
The collection is backed by 5Continents’ more than 26 years of hospitality expertise and can be incorporated into pre- and post-FIT packages. The company, known for its tailor-made travel offerings, says the new product is designed as an easy-to-book option for travel advisors and clients who want the convenience of local escorting without committing to a fully customized trip.
“Everyone knows us as the tailor-made specialist – but not everyone wants, or can afford, a fully customized journey,” says David Boigné, President and Founder of 5Continents.
“We wanted to give travel advisors an option that’s easy to book, easy to sell and genuinely different from what’s already available. These journeys embrace a slower pace of travel, allowing guests to settle into a destination, connect with local people and culture and enjoy the freedom to choose whether to explore further or simply relax and soak up the atmosphere. We see these journeys as the natural evolution of the traditional escorted tour, designed to meet the expectations of today’s travellers.”
Unlike traditional escorted tours focused on covering multiple destinations in a short time, the collection emphasizes smaller groups, off-the-beaten-path stays and authentic local experiences. Itineraries balance guided excursions with ample free time, allowing travellers to explore independently or unwind.
The collection launches with itineraries across Italy and Europe, with additional destinations expected to be added over time.
