Paradisus Cancun unveils new wellness spaces following resort transformation

CANCUN — Paradisus Cancun is expanding its all-inclusive offering with a new focus on destination-inspired wellness, blending movement, recovery, mindfulness and Mexican cultural experiences.

The Meliá Hotels International resort celebrated the new approach at its grand opening on Oct. 18, following its reopening in April 2026 after an extensive transformation. The offering includes new wellness spaces, daily fitness programming and experiences inspired by Mayan and Mexican heritage.

Through its Destination Inclusive program, guests can take part in ancestral rituals, artisan workshops, local gastronomy and cultural storytelling, alongside activities such as yoga, breathwork, aquatic fitness and sound healing.

“By bringing together innovative wellness experiences, movement, recovery, mindful rituals, and the richness of Mexican culture, we are creating a true wellness playground where guests can connect with themselves, with each other, and with the destination,” said Alberto Lalinde, Vice president of Operations America, Meliá Hotels International. “We are thrilled to welcome guests from around the world to discover this new expression of Paradisus Cancun and experience wellness in a way that feels personal, engaging, and deeply connected to the spirit of the destination.”

New wellness facilities include The Longevity Suite, an environment dedicated to rest and recovery featuring vibroacoustic loungers, meditation and mindfulness sessions, PEMF and compression recovery therapies by Therabody, Celluma light technology and sleep masks.
