TORONTO — Severe weather heading to the mid-Atlantic and northeastern U.S. this weekend has triggered flexible rebooking policies for a number of airlines.

Air Canada notified passengers that a significant storm with strong winds, heavy rain, and coastal flooding is expected to hit the region this weekend, potentially impacting travel.

Air Canada passengers can make free flight changes for travel on Sept. 25, Sept. 26 and/or Sept. 27, for Boston, New York (LGA and EWR), Philadelphia and Washington (DCA and IAD).

Air Canada passengers can also make free flight changes for travel today, Sept. 25, to and from Honolulu due to Tropical Storm Nolo.
