MIAMI — Virgin Voyages is celebrating a major milestone, marking two million times Sailors have chosen to cruise with the brand.

The milestone was celebrated at Terminal V in Miami, where seven-time Sailor Jason and his wife Patricia were surprised with a ‘Big Red Envelope’ filled with perks and prizes.

Among them: an upgrade to a Gorgeous Suite, a Shore Thing in Key West, a cabana at The Beach Club at Bimini, a tattoo or spa treatment, a letter from Richard Branson and an invitation to Sisters at Sea, the cruise line’s fleet-wide meet-up, in February 2027. 

Not only that, the couple also received a trip for two to London with Virgin Atlantic flights and a three-night stay at Virgin Hotels London Shoreditch.

FIRST MATES PRIZE

The cruise line also used the occasion to recognize its First Mates.

Florida-based travel advisor and First Mate Nereida was selected for a milestone prize package and will celebrate her third Virgin Voyages sailing with a range of extras, including a Key West Shore Thing, a behind-the-scenes tour, a Redemption Spa treatment or Squid Ink credit, a Supper Club Series dinner show in The Manor, a US$200 Bar Tab and a cabana at Bimini’s Grove.

She’ll also receive a letter from Richard Branson and an invitation to Sisters at Sea.

As part of the broader celebration, Virgin Voyages is extending its Sailing Club Blue Extras and Deep Blue Extras benefits through Dec. 31, 2028.

The cruise line’s Status Match program is also returning, allowing eligible travellers to match status from more than 35 airline, hotel and cruise loyalty programs. Applications are open from Sept. 24 through Oct. 31, with approved Sailors required to book by Oct. 31, 2026.
