CALGARY — WestJet and Tim Hortons are taking their Canadian coffee break to 35,000 feet, with a new onboard blend debuting this fall and a loyalty partnership set to follow in 2027.
Starting Nov. 30, 2026, WestJet will serve Tim Hortons Flight Roast, a custom coffee blend developed specifically for in-flight consumption. The partnership will expand next year, when Tims Rewards and WestJet Rewards members will be able to link their accounts and earn WestJet points on eligible Tim Hortons purchases.
“Some partnerships just make sense, bringing together WestJet, Canada’s famously welcoming airline with Tim Horton’s, Canada’s favourite coffee is one of them,” said John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer. “We’re excited to welcome Tim Hortons and its new Flight Roast blend onboard, giving guests a little taste of home with every cup while reinforcing our ongoing commitment to delivering Canadians with a welcoming experience.”
Flight Roast was developed by Tim Hortons’ in-house coffee team and is designed to taste its best at 35,000 feet. The 100% Premium Arabica blend is roasted to a full medium and features notes of toasted nuts, cocoa and red fruit.
Tim Hortons coffee and tea will be served on WestJet flights that currently offer in-flight refreshments.
MORE REWARDS IN 2027

Linked accounts will also provide access to exclusive offers and promotions, with additional details on the loyalty partnership and member benefits to be announced closer to launch.
