ACV adds Avalon Waterways to cruise lineup

MONTRÉAL — Air Canada Vacations is teaming up with Avalon Waterways to expand its growing cruise portfolio.

The new partnership adds Avalon’s fleet of 16 ships to Air Canada Vacations’ total cruise offering, with itineraries focused on local culture, history and scenery.

“The addition of Avalon Waterways to our cruise portfolio gives our customers another inspiring way to discover the world,” said Nino Montagnese, Vice President at Air Canada Vacations. “Avalon Waterways’ distinctive river cruise experiences complement our commitment to offering Canadian travellers more choice, memorable journeys and exceptional ways to explore each destination.”

To mark the launch, Air Canada Vacations is offering travel advisors a $100 bonus commission on eligible Avalon Waterways vacation cruise packages.

The introductory offer applies to new individual bookings made from Sept. 9 to Oct. 4, 2026, for select sailings departing between Sept. 9, 2026 and Dec. 31, 2027.

Bookings made through Air Canada Vacations also come with the company’s Cruise Promise, which includes the benefits of its Vacation Promise along with cruise-specific features.

On select cruise lines, travellers can secure a booking with a $50 deposit per person. If a ship is delayed or a traveller misses the sailing because of a flight issue, Air Canada Vacations says it will rebook the passenger on the next available flight to catch up with the ship.

Flights are also refundable with no deposit required, while Air Canada Vacations says it guarantees the lowest airfare or will cover the cost of the flight. Click here for details.
