TORONTO — WestJet Vacations is highlighting a trio of refreshed sun resorts in Mexico, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic as renovation projects bring new room inventory and updated experiences to its vacation portfolio.
The properties include Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta, Azura Beach Resort Samara and Majestic Colonial Punta Cana, all of which are available through WestJet Vacations subject to individual reopening dates and availability.
AZURA BEACH RESORT SAMARA ADDS 56 ROOMS
In Costa Rica, Azura Beach Resort Samara is scheduled to reopen this fall following a renovation that adds 56 new rooms.
Located in Guanacaste’s Samara area, the beachfront resort offers a more intimate setting for travellers looking to combine a resort stay with access to nearby beaches, scenery and outdoor activities.
Guests can also choose from a range of dining options and resort amenities while using the property as a base for exploring the surrounding region.
MAJESTIC COLONIAL PUNTA CANA SET FOR NOVEMBER RETURN
Majestic Colonial Punta Cana is also undergoing a transformation, with the five-star all-inclusive resort anticipating a Nov. 12, 2026 reopening.
Located along Punta Cana’s white-sand shoreline, the property caters to both families and adults.
Amenities include a children’s pool, playground and waterpark, along with a variety of bars and entertainment venues including live music, a sports bar and swim-up bar.
PUERTO VALLARTA ALSO IN FOCUS
In Mexico, Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta is also being highlighted within WestJet Vacations’ broader sun portfolio.
The all-inclusive beachfront resort offers dining, activities and amenities for travellers planning a Puerto Vallarta getaway.
