TORONTO — More than 55 members of the TravelBrands community stepped out in Toronto and Montreal to raise $10,000 for SickKids Foundation, an amount that will double to $20,000 through matching funds.
Held simultaneously in both cities on Aug. 25, the annual SickKids Walk brought together TravelBrands employees, travel advisors and members of the travel trade in support of children and families who rely on SickKids care.
“Seeing our teams and travel community come together for SickKids is incredibly meaningful,” said Nathalie Tanious, President & CEO of H.I.S. Canada Travel Inc., parent company of travelbrands. “Every person who walked, donated and supported this initiative helped us reach an incredible $10,000. We are deeply grateful to our team, the trade media, and the travel advisors who participated, and are proud to continue supporting the extraordinary work of SickKids.”
