TORONTO — Intrepid Travel is giving Canadian travel advisors the chance to experience the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in VIP fashion this September with the launch of the Intrepid x TIFF VIP Experience.
The new advisor incentive will see one selected Canadian travel advisor receive a weekend in Toronto during TIFF, including two regular festival tickets, a Toronto Urban Adventures experience for two, a two-night stay at Revery Hotel during the festival’s second weekend and a $200 dinner gift card at a local restaurant.
Canadian travel advisors who have recently booked Intrepid trips are eligible to apply, with applications closing Sept. 1, 2026.
As part of the application process, advisors will also be asked to share their perspectives on selling Intrepid, including what motivates them to recommend the brand, memorable travel stories and ideas for helping more advisors discover and sell Intrepid.
According to the company, that feedback will help inform its ongoing efforts to strengthen relationships with the Canadian travel advisor community.
“TIFF and travel share something powerful, the ability to take people somewhere new and introduce them to different cultures, perspectives and stories,” said Christian Wolters, President of Intrepid Travel Canada. “Our travel advisor partners play an important role in bringing those stories to life, and this experience is a chance for us to recognize and celebrate the advisors who champion Intrepid and help their clients discover the world.”
The advisor incentive is part of Intrepid Travel’s broader partnership with TIFF. The company is returning to the festival for the third consecutive year as a presenting sponsor and will once again support the Centrepiece programme, which showcases international films and stories from around the world.
Intrepid will also return to TIFF’s street festival in September with its Intrepid Travel Box Office Pop-Up at David Pecaut Square. The interactive activation is intended to connect storytelling, culture and exploration for festival-goers.
