TORONTO — Unique Vacations Canada has opened registration for the final five Sandals Masterclass sessions of 2026.
The live, two-hour online training sessions will take place in September and October and are hosted by Lorna Richards, National Training Manager. Created specifically for the Canadian travel trade, the Sandals Masterclass encourages advisors to look beyond price and transactions when selling the brands and focuses on building deeper product knowledge.
The sessions are live and will not be recorded.
Advisors must hold Sandals Elite Advisor (S.E.A.) status to register for a 2026 Masterclass. Those who have not yet achieved certification can complete the online, module-based training through the Sandals Travel Advisor Portal at their own pace. Once certified, advisors can register for a Masterclass session.
Participation in a Sandals Masterclass earns Canadian travel advisors four ACTA credits towards their Certified Travel Counsellor or Certified Travel Manager accreditation.
The training also fulfils the educational component required to maintain Sandals Elite Advisor status.
The final five Canadian Masterclass sessions are:
- Sept. 2 at 10 a.m. CST, Saskatchewan
- Sept. 3 at 10 a.m. PDT, British Columbia
- Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. EDT, Ontario
- Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. MDT, Alberta
- Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. CDT, Manitoba
