Transat strengthens sales team with two leadership appointments in Ontario

MONTREAL — Transat has announced two key appointments within its sales team, naming Dima Fahed as Manager of Sales, Ontario and Atlantic Canada and Niary Iskander as Account Manager, Eastern Ontario. Both appointments took effect on Aug. 3, 2026.

Fahed has been with Transat for 19 years, holding roles in the Customer Contact Centre, Groups Department and, most recently, as Account Manager for the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding markets. In her new position, she will lead Transat’s sales efforts across Ontario and Atlantic Canada, working with travel advisors and internal teams to support the company’s commercial objectives and strengthen the advisor experience.

“Dima’s deep understanding of our business, her passion for serving our travel advisor partners, and her ability to build strong relationships make her exceptionally well positioned for this leadership role,” said Julie Sareault, Commercial Director at Transat. “Her experience and collaborative approach will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our presence and support our partners across Ontario and Atlantic Canada.”

Iskander, meanwhile, joined Transat in 2010, beginning in the Customer Contact Centre before moving into a series of commercial roles. Most recently, she served as Groups Sales Coordinator, where she worked closely with travel advisors and industry partners.

In her new role, Iskander will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with travel agency partners throughout Eastern Ontario while supporting Transat’s commercial goals in the region.

“Niary’s extensive knowledge of our business, her passion for customer service, and the strong relationships she has built within the travel advisor community make her a natural fit for this role,” added Sareault. “Her experience, dedication and partner-first approach will be tremendous assets as we continue to support and grow our relationships across Eastern Ontario.”
