OTTAWA — WestJet has gotten the go-ahead for codeshare flights to the Maldives.
The Canadian Transportation Agency has given the green light for the temporary license.
The CTA says that so far WestJet is licensed to operate the service until June 30, 2027.
WestJet’s codeshare partners include Virgin Atlantic, which operates Maldives flights out of London Heathrow.
WestJet offers LHR from Toronto, Calgary, Halifax and St. John’s.
