TORONTO — Both WestJet and Porter Airlines are reportedly expanding their codeshare networks, with Delta Air Lines and American Airlines respectively.
According to AeroRoutes, which tracks worldwide airline schedule and network changes, WestJet’s codeshare partnership with Delta Air Lines is expanding to cover more U.S. routes.
The move includes five flights from Detroit to Las Vegas, L.A., San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle, as well as three flights from Minneapolis/St. Paul to L.A., Orlando and San Diego. Starting later this November Porter and Delta will also codeshare on YVR-LAX.
AeroRoutes also reports that Porter and American Airlines will expand their codeshare network to 38 routes out of Chicago O’Hare, effective starting this winter 2026-2027.
