Goway appoints Dean Moore as CEO, marking new chapter for founder Bruce Hodge

TORONTO — Dean Moore is Goway’s new Chief Executive Officer, just one year after joining the company as Chief Operating Officer.

The announcement also brings a new chapter for Goway’s founder and President, Bruce Hodge, who got Goway rolling in 1970 and has been synonymous with the company ever since.

Hodge will remain as President and Chairman and will continue to oversee Goway’s subsidiary corporate travel division, Globespan Travel Management.

Hodge says he also intends to devote more time to philanthropy and defining Goway’s legacy.

Hodge’s first storytelling project, Tales from the Road, is live on Goway.com. Through a new written story released each month, he will explore Goway’s origins and his 55+ years of globetrotting.

Moore joined Goway in 2025 and in his short tenure has delivered double-digit growth, streamlined operations and transformed the company’s technology systems. Moore will now lead all Goway’s North American operations, as well as a new portfolio comprising subsidiary companies Across Australia (Sydney) and INA Prime (Manila).

Before arriving at Goway, Moore spent 25 years in the global travel space having worked in the UK, continental and northern Europe, the U.S. and Canada. He held senior executive positions including Executive Director of Transformation at MyTravel Group, COO and CEO of Thomas Cook’s North American division and COO and CEO of itravel2000.

“Dean shares my ambitious vision for Goway as the leading tailor-made travel company for globetrotters,” says Hodge. “He has helped move the needle dramatically through his tenacious leadership and rigorous commitment to driving results. Our leadership board and I feel we have found exactly the person to propel Goway into the future.”

Technological innovation is central to Moore’s approach and Goway is making further investments in industry-leading, proprietary systems. Fueling these ambitions is a drive for significant scale for all Goway’s divisions and companies.

Says Moore: “In a very short time I’ve been incredibly impressed by the passion, dedication, and performance of Goway’s teams around the globe. It’s truly our people that will define our success in this era of technological change. It’s a privilege to continue leading Goway on our journey as the leader in tailor-made travel.”
