Turkish Airlines increases Canada flights, returns for 2026 RBC Canadian Open

ISTANBUL — Turkish Airlines has announced a schedule expansion for its Canadian operations.

The airline is adding extra flights to Istanbul from Toronto Pearson,  Vancouver and Montreal in July 2026. The new expansion means Turkish Airlines has seven weekly flights from YYZ and four weekly flights from both YVR and YUL.

The news comes as Turkish Airlines recommits to the Canadian market in other ways, with its return as an official airline sponsor of the 2026 RBC Canadian Open, taking place from June 10–14 at the North Course at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley.

The 2026 partnership introduces a newly expanded premium Turkish Airlines Lounge, featuring a larger, climate-controlled space and an enhanced covered viewing area overlooking the 18th green.

“Our return to the RBC Canadian Open is a reflection of our long-term commitment to Canada and to the sports communities that unite people across borders,” says Turkish Airlines Chief Commercial Officer Harun Baştürk. Turkish Airlines connects over 130 countries, and we bring that same global spirit to every partnership we enter. Building on the momentum of our first year, we have worked closely with Golf Canada and Osprey Valley to deliver a significantly enhanced guest experience that mirrors the ambition and excellence on display at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley. We are glad to stand beside one of golf’s most storied national Opens and look forward to another unforgettable week.”
