Vacationers flock to Orlando in 2025; Canadian market down 13%

FORT LAUDERDALE — Orlando welcomed a record-breaking 76.7 million visitors in 2025, marking a 1.8% increase over 2024 and the highest visitation in the destination’s history.

Visit Orlando shared the stats at IPW 2026, taking place this week in Fort Lauderdale.

International visitation came in at 6.3 million in 2025, a 2.4% drop, largely due to decreased travel from Canada. Retaining its top spot as Orlando’s number one source market, Canada was down 13.3%, to 1,119,000. Orlando’s other four top source markets were all up: UK (2.8%), Brazil (5.6%), Mexico (4.6%) and Colombia (5%).

“Looking ahead to 2026, international numbers are expected to rebound,” said Visit Orlando.

Destination highlights include Universal Orlando’s new Universal Epic Universe, new lands and attractions inspired by Monsters, Inc., Encanto, Cars and Disney villains on the way at Walt Disney World Resort, plus new attractions at SeaWorld Orlando.
