TORONTO — Unique Vacations Canada has opened registration for its 2026 Sandals Masterclass training series, offering Canadian travel advisors an in-depth look at sales strategies for Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts.
Running from May through August 2026, the online training program is designed exclusively for the Canadian market and focuses on helping advisors strengthen their value-based selling techniques while increasing their earning potential.
The live two-hour sessions will be led by Lorna Richards, National Training Manager at Unique Vacations Canada, alongside Sandals Business Development Managers from across the country. Sessions will not be recorded, and advisors may register for any date that best suits their schedule.
“The value proposition has never been more important than it is right now in a client’s decision-making process for their next vacation,” says Maureen Barnes-Smith, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Canada, Unique Vacations Canada (affiliate of worldwide representatives of Sandals and Beaches Resorts.) “It is a known fact that not all all-inclusives were created equal so when travel advisors take a closer look at the real, tangible value that a Sandals or Beaches vacation experience provides – from dining to water sports and everything in-between – it will help change the way they sell the product.”
As part of a new requirement introduced for the 2026 spring-summer series, advisors must first achieve Sandals Elite Advisor certification before registering for a Masterclass session.
Advisors who have not yet completed the certification can access the self-paced training modules through Sandals TA Portal.
Participation in the Masterclass program also provides advisors with four ACTA credits toward Certified Travel Counsellor or Certified Travel Manager accreditation, while also fulfilling the educational component required to maintain Sandals Elite Advisor status.
The 2026 spring-summer Masterclass schedule includes sessions across multiple Canadian regions and time zones, including dedicated French-language sessions for Quebec advisors.

- May 27 – British Columbia
- May 28 – Manitoba
- June 3 – Ontario with Robert Smith
- June 11 – Quebec (French session)
- June 17 – Alberta

- July 23 – Ontario with Robert Smith
- Aug. 19 – Quebec (French session)
- Aug. 27 – Ontario with Richard Todd
All sessions run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. local time.
