DUBAI — Emirates says 96% of its global network is now restored.
In the past weeks, the airline has progressively resumed services across the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East/GCC, the Far East and Australasia, marking a near-full return to operations.
At this point Emirates operates to 137 destinations across 72 countries, with over 1,300 weekly frequencies, representing 75% of pre-disruption capacity.
The airline notes that even as it operated with a reduced schedule, Emirates carried 4.7 million passengers during the disruption (between March 1 and April 30, 2026).
Passengers can take advantage of the airline’s Dubai Connect stopover program, for travellers with extended transit times in Dubai from 6 to 26 hours. Dubai Connect can be booked up to 12 hours ahead and is available to passengers across all cabin classes with qualifying connection times.
Plus, from May 1 – Aug. 31, 2026, Emirates Skywards members get accelerated access to the program’s premium tiers through reduced tier requirements and Bonus Tier Miles on Emirates and flydubai flights.
Most importantly, Emirates’ flexible booking policy means that travellers booked from April 2 onwards get added flexibility, with one free date change included across all cabin classes. Customers who have booked with Emirates can also hold a fare for 24 hours free of charge.
