Skål Toronto celebrates 70 years, invites past members to milestone event

TORONTO — Skål Toronto is celebrating a major milestone in 2026, marking 70 years of connection, collaboration and leadership within the travel and tourism industry.

To commemorate the anniversary, the organization will host a special luncheon on May 26, 2026, at the Boulevard Club in Toronto. The event will bring together past presidents, Skål members, industry professionals, political leaders and invited guests for an afternoon focused on recognition and reflection.

The celebration will also serve as a reunion of sorts, with Skål Toronto extending an open invitation to former members, colleagues and friends to attend. The club is also calling on past members to contribute photos, memorabilia and historical items to help showcase its legacy during the event.

“This is a celebration of Skal and we encourage all former members of the Toronto and the Toronto North Skal clubs to join us for this luncheon to meet old colleagues and industry friends,” said Skal President, Susan Webb. “As well, as always, we welcome all other members of Skal who would like to attend this special occasion.”

Founded on the principle of “doing business among friends,” Skål has long played a role in fostering relationships across the global travel and hospitality sector. The upcoming anniversary event will highlight the organization’s history in Toronto and recognize the contributions of its members over the past seven decades.

Further details, including how to attend or contribute materials, are available through Skål Toronto.
