TORONTO — The Cuba Tourist Board has released the schedule this year’s FITCuba, taking place May 7 – 8 in a hybrid format as announced earlier this month.
“The 44th International Tourism Fair (FitCuba) is adapting to the new scenario, we are going 100% virtual from May 7-8, 2026. Join our travel partners for the inside scoop on Cuba’s winter season,” says the tourist board.
Virtual B2B sessions are set for May 7–8, while an in-person event will take place May 9 in Josone Park in Varadero.
Registration is free and exclusive to travel professionals. The tourist board also notes that all session materials will be available for download post-conference at no cost.

Day 1 – May 7
9 a.m. – Opening ceremony
10 a.m. – Presentation: ‘Cuba, Your Ideal Destination for 2026–2027’
11 a.m. – Spotlights on Varadero and Havana
1 p.m. – Cultural Deep-Dives: The Havana Cigar Route, Sports Tourism and Cuisine
3 p.m. – Exclusive presentations from leading hotel chains
7 p.m. – Day 1 Finale: Raffles and Contests
Day 2 – May 8
9 a.m. – Opening second day
10 a.m. – Global connectivity: Meeting with the Cuban Diaspora
11:30 a.m. – Specialized Tourism: Urban, Nature, and Cultural tracks
1 p.m. – Direct networking with local DMCs
3 p.m. – Live Sessions: Dance classes and Mojito preparation
5 p.m. – Virtual Outlet: Special offers and business opportunities
7 p.m. – Closing ceremony & post-event virtual tour
Travel professionals may register at any time. Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email to set up a profile.
The Cuba Tourist Board offers these tips for registration: “Registration is free for all travel professional participants. Please answer all questions on the registration form. Ensure the Currency field is set to USD. Also, when entering your telephone number, include the + sign followed by the North American area code with no spaces (e.g., +1416…).”
A photo is required to complete each profile, however if attendees prefer not to use a personal headshot, they’re invited to upload their company logo.
