ACTA opens nominations for 2026 Awards, adds new Travel Manager category

TORONTO — ACTA has opened nominations for its 2026 ACTA Awards, inviting the industry to recognize standout professionals across Canada’s retail travel sector.

The annual awards celebrate individuals who are making a meaningful impact through leadership, advocacy and a commitment to advancing the travel advisor profession. 

This year’s program introduces a new Travel Manager Award, which recognizes a manager in either corporate or leisure travel who demonstrate strong leadership, adaptability and innovation while delivering exceptional service to clients and supporting high-performing teams. 

This year’s award categories are:

  • Leisure Travel Advisor Award
  • Corporate Travel Advisor Award
  • Tomorrow’s Leader Award
  • Ches Chard Education Award
  • Gerald Heifetz Advocacy Award
  • CTC/CTM Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Travel Manager Award

ACTA is encouraging industry members to submit nominations for colleagues, peers or themselves. All nominees must be ACTA members in good standing, with winners selected by a panel of industry experts.
