VANCOUVER — Emerald Cruises & Tours has unveiled its new 2027 Europe River Cruises brochure, with new ships, new itineraries and an extended season.
The collection places a strong emphasis on immersive travel, featuring more overnight stays, later departures and off-peak sailings from February through December, allowing travellers to explore Europe with fewer crowds and greater flexibility.
One highlight is the expansion of the brand’s European fleet to 11 Starships, with the addition of Emerald Nova and Emerald Lumi.
Emerald Nova will join Emerald Radiance on Portugal’s Douro River, introducing an extended itinerary that explores the region in greater depth, with two sailing options for added flexibility. The ship will span 80 metres (262 ft) and accommodate up to 110 guests across 55 staterooms and suites.
Emerald Lumi will debut on the Seine River, a purpose-built ship tailored to this iconic waterway, offering a refined way to explore destinations such as Paris, Rouen and Honfleur.

New itineraries for 2027 include the 11-day Douro Highlights: Porto, Salamanca & the Wine Valley (Porto to Porto | Departing: June – October 2027); the eight-day Sensations of the Seine & Normandy (Paris to Paris | Departing: March – October 2027) and the 14-day Waterways of the Netherlands & Belgium with Copenhagen (Amsterdam to Copenhagen | Departing: March 2027).
