TORONTO — Celestyal Cruises has issued an operational update as it continues to monitor the evolving situation in the Middle East, confirming the cancellation of an upcoming sailing and adjustments to its deployment plans.
In its latest updates dated March 24 and March 25, the cruise line said all guests have safely disembarked from Celestyal Discovery in Dubai and Celestyal Journey in Doha. Both vessels remain fully operational, with departures from the region to take place in line with guidance from relevant authorities.
Due to the ongoing situation, Celestyal has delayed the repositioning of both Celestyal Discovery and Celestyal Journey ahead of their Mediterranean season. As a result, the following sailings have been cancelled:
- April 3: Three-night ‘Iconic Greek Islands’ aboard Celestyal Discovery
- April 4: 14-night ‘Mediterranean Icons’ aboard Celestyal Journey
- April 6: Four-night ‘Iconic Greek Islands’ aboard Celestyal Discovery
Guests booked on the cancelled sailing will be offered the choice of a full refund or a future cruise credit for a later departure. Clients are advised to contact their travel advisor or original booking provider to review their options and next steps.
The company said it continues to closely monitor developments and remains focused on resuming its planned program as soon as possible.
