Canadian growth leads the way as Intrepid posts record 2025 results

TORONTO — Canada emerged as Intrepid Travelʻs fastest growing marketing globally as the company posted its record-breaking year-end results.

Intrepid says it delivered its best-ever result in its 37-year history – achieving record results across financial, impact and customer metrics in 2025, building on the momentum of recent years and reinforcing its position as a global leader in purpose-led travel.

As Intrepid CEO James Thornton told Travelweek in an October 2025 interview, Canada is the companyʻs breakout market. The latest stats show Canada came through with 25% year-over-year growth for 2025 vs. 2024.

Globally, despite geopolitical headwinds in 2025, the world’s largest adventure company globally achieved Cdn$759 million (+26% YoY) in bookings, and $703 million in revenue (+29%). Underlying EBITDA was $46.8 million (+26%). Intrepid also achieved an average Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 83.

It was also another milestone year for Intrepid’s impact agenda, including its not-for-profit, The Intrepid Foundation, disbursing a record $2.9 million (+42% YoY) to communities around the world.

“Our 2025 performance shows that it is possible to grow a resilient, profitable business while staying true to our values – even in the face of global uncertainty,” said Thornton.

“At a time when the world is more divided than ever, I’m incredibly proud that more travellers are choosing to experience the world the Intrepid way. These results are testament to our team, who deliver exceptional experiences for our customers while creating positive impact for communities,” Thornton added.
