TORONTO — The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA) has announced the Chairs and Vice-Chairs of its 2026 Regional Advisory Committees, recognizing industry leaders from across the country who will help guide advocacy and member engagement efforts in the year ahead.
ACTA’s Regional Advisory Committees represent members nationwide and play a key role in supporting the association’s advocacy initiatives while providing regional insights that help inform national strategy. The committees are tasked with strengthening collaboration, driving engagement and ensuring member voices are reflected in ACTA’s priorities.
The 2026 Regional Advisory Committee Chairs and Vice-Chairs are:
British Columbia and Yukon

Alberta and Northwest Territories

Each regional committee will be supported by ACTA staff working closely with members in their respective markets. Fiona Bowen, Senior Manager, Membership, will support Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Yacine Bimich, Membership Manager, will serve as the ACTA lead for Québec. Lesley Berry, Membership Manager, will oversee British Columbia and Yukon, Alberta and Northwest Territories, and Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

ACTA expressed appreciation to both incoming and returning committee leaders for their service and commitment to the Canadian travel agency and travel advisor community. The association says their regional expertise and perspectives are essential to advancing its mandate to support, advocate for and elevate travel agencies and independent travel advisors across Canada.
