Jamaica Tourist Board to host cultural showcase in Toronto

TORONTO — The Jamaica Tourist Board is set to spotlight the island’s music, cuisine and culture in Toronto later this month with Rhythm on the Rocks, an immersive cultural showcase designed to inspire travel to Jamaica while bringing together trade, media and influencers.

Taking place Feb. 27 at the Toronto Events Centre, the evening event will welcome close to 500 guests for a celebration featuring live performances, networking opportunities and exclusive travel offers. The experience is designed to capture the essence of Jamaica’s vibrant spirit, with reggae and island rhythms headlining the night alongside authentic food and drink.

Guests will enjoy Jamaican cuisine, premium rum tastings, live music, fashion and handcrafted artistry, as well as access to special travel packages and promotions to the destination. The event will also include a chance to win an all-inclusive trip to Jamaica, courtesy of the Jamaica Tourist Board and its partners.

“This is more than just an evening of authentic cuisine, music and handcrafted artistry – it’s an opportunity to stand in solidarity with Jamaica as we recover and rebuild following the hurricane’s impact. Let’s come together to savour the rich flavours and rhythms of the island while spreading love and support,” said Angella Bennett, Regional Director of Canada, Jamaica Tourist Board.

Tickets are currently on sale, with early bird pricing available until Feb. 14, 2026. The event runs from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
