TORONTO — Intrepid Travel is kicking off 2026 with its largest-ever Q1 travel advisor incentive, pairing more than $30,000 in prizes with exclusive early access to its annual New Year Sale.
Designed to capitalize on the industry’s busiest booking period, the limited-time promotion runs from Jan. 8 to Feb. 13 and offers Canadian advisors more opportunities to win, bigger prizes and access to top-selling trips. Plus, for the first time, Intrepid has doubled the number of winners by introducing separate weekly and grand prize draws for advisors in Canada and the United States.
“We know January is one of the busiest months for Canadian travel advisors,” said Caroline Tinsley, Head of Partnerships at Intrepid Travel. “This incentive is our way of showing appreciation for their hard work. We’re committed to providing advisors with meaningful rewards, valuable tools and a genuine partnership that helps them succeed.”
HOW IT WORKS
During the promotional period, every confirmed booking counts as an entry to win one of over $30,000 in prizes, including free Small Group Adventures.
Grand prizes include:
- FOC Intrepid tour to Peru up to $3,500 plus companion (or single supplement of equal value)
- FOC Short Break up to $3,000
- FOC Premium Walking & Trekking up to $4,000
Weekly smaller prizes are available for five weeks, also between Jan. 8 and Feb. 13, and include a free Urban Adventure day tour for the advisor and one companion, valued at $200 per person, as well as a copy of The Intrepid List book, with the option to give to a client. Weekly prize winners will be drawn at random from advisors who’ve made a booking each week.
HOW ADVISORS CAN WIN
Agents must lock in a new booking between Jan. 8 and Feb. 13, 2026. Bookings are confirmed once the deposit is paid. They can then track their progress on the leaderboard, which is shared regularly in the Intrepid Travel Advisor Community on Facebook.
Weekly prize winners will be announced the following Tuesday via email and in the Intrepid Travel Advisor Community on Facebook. Grand prize winners will be announced on Feb. 16 via email and Facebook.
NEW YEAR SALE DETAILS
During the agent early access period, clients will save 20% off Original Style trips when booked between Jan. 8–11, 2026, for travel between Feb. 1 to Dec. 14, 2026. The promotional code is available on the Agent Hub.
Following the agent early access period, the New Year Sale will run from Jan. 12 to Feb. 13, 2026. Discounted prices will be automatically applied on Intrepid’s website.
