TORONTO — Intrepid Travel has opened applications for its largest ever 2026 Agent FAM Program.
The travel company invites travel advisors across Canada and the U.S. to experience some of the world’s most compelling destinations and trip styles firsthand.
From March through December 2026, the expanded FAM program gives advisors hands-on access to Intrepid’s most in-demand destinations and trip styles.
The 2026 FAM program includes opportunities across Central and South America, Europe, North Africa, and East Asia.
Destinations advisors may experience include …
- Belize
- Guatemala
- Turkey
- South Korea
- Peru
- Morocco
- Hungary, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia
“Our 2026 FAM program is about giving advisors real, firsthand insight into what makes Intrepid different,” said Caroline Tinley, Head of Partnernships, Canada at Intrepid Travel.
Tinley added: “By experiencing our trips on the ground, advisors gain the knowledge and credibility to match clients with the right destinations and travel styles, while also supporting the local communities that make these journeys possible. It’s an experience that benefits everyone involved.”
APPLY NOW FOR BEST CHANCE TO PARTICIPATE
Here’s why agents are advised to apply now …
- Limited space on each FAM with high advisor demand
- FAM applications close Jan. 28, 2026 (closing date for applications from Central America is Dec. 31, 2025)
- Advisors can indicate interest in multiple destinations with one application
- Early applicants are considered first as trips are finalized
Full details, eligibility requirements, and the application form are available now on the Intrepid Agent Hub. Advisors are encouraged to review all available FAM options and submit their application as soon as possible.
All general FAMs will be hosted by members of Intrepid’s Partnerships Team.
Participation fees for general FAMs start at Cdn$550, with a portion of every fee donated directly to Intrepid Foundation partners in the destination visited. In total, Intrepid expects to donate more than $18,000 to local community organizations through the 2026 FAM program.
New for 2026, Intrepid has streamlined the process with a single application covering all FAM opportunities. Advisors can select which trips they are interested in, reducing duplication and making it easier to express interest across multiple destinations. A disclaimer is included for trekking-based trips, such as Peru.
All U.S. and Canadian advisors are encouraged to apply, regardless of consortia or partnership affiliation.
