WILTON, CT — Tauck has opened bookings for its newest brand, Roam by Tauck, with the inaugural five journeys debuting in 2026.
Designed specifically for travellers in their 40s and 50s, the itineraries are already garnering strong early interest from advisors and guests, building momentum into 2027 when the line will expand to 12 itineraries.
“Since introducing Roam by Tauck in August, we’ve heard tremendous enthusiasm from travel advisors who recognize this fills a meaningful gap in the luxury travel market,” said Jennifer Tombaugh, Tauck CEO. “We designed these journeys for travellers who lead dynamic, fast-paced lives and want a guided experience that still feels personal, less structured and yet entirely effortless.”
Averaging just 16 guests, Roam by Tauck incorporates the brand’s ‘half-on, half-off’ philosophy, balancing curated group experiences with flexibility and free time. Each journey features VIP access to experiences typically not available to most independent travellers. They also include ‘Signature Moments’ and one-of-a-kind stays with premium amenities, accommodations, airport transfers upon arrival and departure, luggage handling, all gratuities, taxes, fees and more. Independent time is built into each itinerary. First departures begin August 2026.
The five journeys debuting in 2026 are:
- Mexico City & San Miguel de Allende: This seven-day journey explores Mexico City and San Miguel de Allende with optional e-biking, taco tasting, gallery visits and hands-on local experiences. - Prague & The Danube: This 10-day land-and-river trip travels from Prague to Budapest and includes guided city tours, biking in Vienna and a seven-night Danube cruise. Signature Moment: private waltz lesson in Vienna. From $7,690 per person, double occupancy, plus airfare.
- Porto & The Douro Valley: This eight-day river cruise explores Porto and the Douro Valley with food and wine experiences, cultural stops and optional activities. Signature Moment: a private night visit to Côa Valley rock art. From $6,390 per person, double occupancy, plus airfare.

Building on the 2026 debut, Roam by Tauck will introduce seven additional journeys in 2027.
