Air Canada Vacations launches ‘ACV Options’ to offer advisors more flexibility

MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations has rolled out a new flexible booking solution for travel advisors, reinforcing its commitment to providing extended support for its trusted travel partners.

Launched amid its 50th anniversary Mega Fam in Cancun, the tour operator has unveiled ‘ACV Options,’ which allows advisors to reserve vacation packages for up to 24 hours, and tours for up to 48 hours without requiring a deposit. If no payment is made by the deadline, the system will automatically cancel the booking – no manual action is required.

This seamless feature allows advisors to hold space while clients finalize their travel decisions, ensuring peace of mind and operational efficiency.

“We know how challenging it can be for our travel advisors to navigate client demands while respecting strict booking deadlines,” said Nino Montagnese, Vice President, Air Canada Vacations. “That’s why we developed this flexible booking solution to simplify the process, reduce stress and empower our advisors to better serve their clients.”

ACV Options applies to all pre-packaged vacations and tour packages within the Air Canada Vacations portfolio. The policy has a blackout period between Dec. 18 and Jan. 3 of any travel year. This option is not applicable for departures within 28 days of the booking date. It is available exclusively to Air Canada Vacations’ travel advisor partners.
