Fareconnect Annual Conference 2025

Fareconnect Conference unites agents and suppliers for weekend of connection

EDMONTON — It was a weekend of connection and community as Fareconnect’s Annual Conference 2025 brought agents and suppliers from across Canada together in Edmonton for an unforgettable event.

Held from Oct. 2–5 at the Sandman Signature Sherwood Park Hotel, the conference welcomed more than 100 travel advisors and over 21 preferred suppliers for four days of learning, networking and entertainment. The event delivered a dynamic mix of educational sessions, supplier presentations and social gatherings, all designed to empower travel professionals and strengthen industry relationships.

One of the standout moments of the weekend was the lively Music Poker Night, which set the tone for a fun and engaging conference experience. Agents and suppliers came together for an evening filled with laughter, singing and camaraderie as attendees enthusiastically joined in classic hits.

The Gala Night, sponsored by key suppliers, featured gourmet cuisine, prize giveaways and the celebration of top-performing agents and supplier partners. Fareconnect CEO Rick Gaudet shared highlights from a successful year, including a 21% increase in sales and the company’s first-ever million-dollar sale. He also introduced a new Diamond Level recognition for agents who earned $100,000 or more in the past year, reaffirming Fareconnect’s commitment to rewarding excellence. Gaudet concluded by reflecting on the company’s core values of honesty, integrity and maintaining a personal connection with all 500 agents across Canada.

The Gala was not only a celebration of success but also a reminder of Fareconnect’s strong community spirit. Attendees praised the event for striking the right balance between business and fun, with many noting how the experience reinvigorated their passion for travel and strengthened their professional networks. The weekend’s activities encouraged collaboration, sharing of best practices and genuine relationship-building among advisors and suppliers alike.

In addition to the celebrations, the conference provided valuable opportunities for agents to meet one-on-one with Business Development Managers and connect directly with industry partners. As one agent noted, “It’s more than just a conference – it’s a chance to recharge, reconnect and reignite our passion for travel.”
