Tourism has the power to educate, connect, and accelerate a regenerative economy, not just locally, but globally. The annual IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism Conference returns for its 9th year January 25-28, 2026, in Victoria, B.C., to push the conversation (and action) even further.

Co-founded by Destination Greater Victoria, Synergy Enterprises, Starrboard Enterprises, and tartanbond, IMPACT was created with the goal of aligning the global tourism industry, as well as stakeholders and communities touched by tourism, behind a vision to achieve economic, social and environmental sustainability.

In 2026, the conference will introduce a new Workshop Series that gives attendees the opportunity to collaborate, develop tailored solutions, and leave with resources customized for their own organizations. The addition of this series for IMPACT 2026 reflects valuable feedback from past participants, who highlighted the benefits of interactive, hands-on workshops.
