LAUDERDALE — Princess Cruises has announced updates to its popular Premier and Plus packages, introducing new benefits designed to offer greater flexibility and value for 2026 sailings.
The refreshed packages, now available for purchase, include added perks such as shore excursion credits and more casual dining options, both of which are frequently requested by guests.
Pre-cruise pricing for the Princess Premier Package has increased to US$100 per person per day (previously $90), while the Princess Plus Package will now be $65 per person per day (previously $60). Guests sailing aboard the new Sphere-class ships, Sun Princess and Star Princess, will pay $105 and $70 per person per day respectively for the Princess Premier and Plus packages. Princess estimates that these packages still offer savings of 50%-70% compared to purchasing individual components separately.
“By thoughtfully evolving our packages, we’re ensuring they reflect what our guests truly desire, more flexibility, enhanced culinary experiences, and opportunities to explore ashore, all the while retaining the exceptional benefits they’ve come to expect,” said Alfredo Jimenez, Princess Cruises Vice President, Onboard Revenue. “Ultimately, it’s about delivering an even more rewarding and personalized vacation experience.”
The Premier Package will now include a new shore excursion credit that varies depending on voyage length: $100 for 6- to 9-day cruises, $200 for 10- to 20-day sailings and up to $300 for voyages of 21 days or longer. The package continues to include the Premier Beverage Package, unlimited casual and specialty dining, wi-fi for up to four devices, waived fees for OceanNow and room service delivery, unlimited digital professional photos, reserved theatre seating and daily crew appreciation.
The Plus Package now features two additional casual dining meals per voyage, increasing the total to four. Other inclusions are the Plus Beverage Package, wi-fi for one device, waived OceanNow and room service delivery fees, and daily crew appreciation.
To accommodate these updates, Princess will remove certain package features with lower usage, including premium desserts, juice bar access, Medallion shipping, fitness classes and Princess Prizes.
