TORONTO — G Adventures has unveiled two new Eastern European trips for 2026, marking its first foray into Moldova and expanding its Romania offerings with a standalone itinerary.
The launch introduces travellers to two often-overlooked destinations and reflects the company’s continued focus on sustainable, community-based tourism in emerging regions.

The seven-day ‘Moldova Discovery explores the country’s capital of Chisinau, its extensive wine caves, and rural areas including the village of Horodiște, where travellers will visit Fromage – Made in Moldova, a social enterprise supporting local families. Other highlights include hiking to the archaeological site of Old Orhei, learning to cook traditional ‘Placinte’ pastries at a local agro-pension, and exploring Gagauzia’s cultural sites with wine tasting and a recreated wedding ceremony. The trip is priced from $2,049 per person, with departures beginning in April 2026.
The eight-day ‘Highlights of Romania & the Danube Delta’ itinerary begins in Bucharest and ventures into Transylvania to explore castles including Bran and Peles. It continues through the Buzău region’s unique mud volcanoes before reaching the Danube Delta and the remote village of Mila 23, accessible only by water. Travellers stay in guest houses, learn about the Lipovan community and the local ecosystem, and enjoy a day on Sulina’s wild beach. This itinerary is priced from $2,499 per person with April 2026 departures.
Travellers can also combine both trips into a 14-day itinerary, ‘Heart of the East: Romania & Moldova Adventure,’ priced from $4,549 per person.
