Blue Diamond joins Marriott’s Luxury Collection with Riviera Maya addition

CANCUN — Blue Diamond Resorts is set to make its debut within Marriott’s prestigious Luxury Collection with the upcoming addition of Paraíso de la Bonita, A Luxury Collection Resort, Riviera Maya, Adult All-Inclusive. The move represents a significant milestone in the company’s evolution and its continued growth within the upscale all-inclusive segment.

The move, which represents the Blue Diamond’s continued growth within the upscale all-inclusive segment, comes as the company celebrates its 15th anniversary.

“As we gradually welcome Paraíso de la Bonita into our journey, this moment stands as both a proud achievement and a meaningful milestone in our 15th anniversary year,” said Jordi Pelfort, President of Blue Diamond Resorts. “The opportunity to collaborate on such an iconic resort within The Luxury Collection reflects how far we’ve come and where we’re headed. It allows us to honour the legacy of a beloved property while ushering in a new era of thoughtful luxury, elevated service, and operational excellence.”

Located just 20 minutes from Cancun International Airport, between a mangrove reserve and the Caribbean Sea, Paraíso de la Bonita offers a distinctive retreat that blends heritage and modern design. The boutique resort features 90 oceanfront and ocean-view suites, each offering private terraces, marble bathrooms with deep soaking tubs, and hand-carved furnishings inspired by regional craftsmanship. Select suites also include open-air showers, further enhancing the connection to the natural surroundings.

Dining is a key component of the guest experience, with three oceanfront restaurants that combine local ingredients and global culinary techniques. Two bars provide settings for curated tastings and crafted cocktails, maintaining a refined yet relaxed atmosphere.

Wellness also plays a central role at Paraíso de la Bonita. The resort is home to one of the Caribbean’s only open-air Thalasso pools, drawing inspiration from European thermal spas and designed for detoxification and relaxation. Additional wellness offerings include garden-based treatments, a soon-to-launch Temazcal ritual rooted in ancestral practices, and a state-of-the-art fitness space.

The property also offers a variety of venues for events and celebrations, from intimate indoor salons to lush garden spaces ideal for weddings. A private dock allows for seamless event logistics and unique guest experiences.

Paraíso de la Bonita is already fully operational and welcoming guests. For more information, visit https://www.royaltonresorts.com/resorts/paraiso-de-la-bonita.
