ACV hosts Travel Advisory Board retreat in Jamaica

MONTREAL — Sun, sand, and strategy came together as Air Canada Vacations hosted its annual Travel Advisory Board (TAAB) Retreat from June 12–15, 2025, at the luxurious Sandals Montego Bay in Jamaica.

In partnership with Sandals Resorts, the four-day getaway brought together top travel partners from across Canada – including retail chains, consortia, and independents – for a productive mix of island hospitality and business-building collaboration.

Designed as both a strategic forum and an immersive destination experience, the retreat offered a blend of business discussions, targeted training sessions and on-site hotel inspections. Participants had the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into Air Canada Vacations’ key product offerings, while also experiencing the Sandals resort environment.

“This retreat is an important opportunity to deepen our relationships with our valued travel partners and work collaboratively toward shared success,” said Nino Montagnese, Vice President at Air Canada Vacations. “Our Travel Advisory Board’s goal is to enhance services and simplify travel planning for our trade partners and their customers. The valuable feedback we receive helps us make real progress, and we appreciate our partners’ input in shaping our future.”

Air Canada Vacations announced the return of its Travel Advisory Board in July 2024, which went into hiatus during the pandemic. It first launched in 2016 with 30 members across the country who worked directly with senior management on issues impacting the travel advisory community.
